I'm Jim, a Software Engineer at Figma. I studied EECS at UC Berkeley and previously worked at Pivotal on Cloud Foundry and BOSH.

I've spent most of my career building backend systems in Go, Ruby, Elixir, and Kotlin. I enjoy working on infrastructure, developer tools, and making things simpler than I found them.

Outside of work, I like tinkering with side projects and listening to music. You can find my code on GitHub.
